In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful; blessings and peace be upon Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.

Is there such a genre? Yes! Even if there isn't one, someone has to start it. Why? Simple! Readers for such genre do exist!

Love and romance. For as long as romance has been in existence in all sorts of medium, certain romantic or love scenes and plots are unavoidable. In fact, sometimes they are a must for they attract and captivate readers of romance literature. Some Muslim readers crave for romance stories as well. However, in keeping with their faith, they want to skip those scenes and plots since they are not permissible in Islam. Henceforth, the birth of Islamic romance writers...

There is definitely a need for an islamic alternative for romance fiction. Romantic feelings are not uncommon to muslims only we have guidelines that must be followed. :)

Thanks for leaving your comment Sis! Through out my college days I used to read romance fictions. My favorites by Danielle Steele. Years later as I was pursuing my studies in the States, I reacquainted myself with the beauty of Islam and my journey of writing Islamic romance novels began. The first will meet the readers this month, inshaAllah!

Salaam dear...
I bought my copy in Madinah. I think you can buy it from Saba' Islamic Media. They have both English and Malay versions. It's a great book...a MUST for daily reading...one of the books that inspired me to write Islamic romance novels. I just CANNOT STAND the Malay romance novels....'jiwang2' but lacking Islam as a way of life!
